Search Engine Marketing (SEM) 

Search Engine Marketing (SEM) or Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing can help new websites gain traffic for the initial start up period until the search engines find and rank a new site (a period of up to three months after submission of the finished website.)

As well, once your organic search engine standing is positioned in the search engines, SEM can boost hits to your site by targetting local people who are searching for your products or services on the web.

With SEM you only pay when someone clicks on your text ad and visits your website. You can control how much you will spend per click, per day and per keyword phrase.

We set up your SEM campaign to increase your business profile and business leads through Pay Per Click Marketing. Each campaign is carried out in either or both Google Adwords and Yahoo Search and may be promoted in the following search engines: Google, MSN, Yahoo, America Online, Netscape, Ask Jeeves, Alta Vista, Earthlink, CNN.com, and Infospace. You can also choose particular Blogs or regional sites to place your PPC ads on.

Google's PPC program - Adwords and Yahoo Search PPC program allow advertisers to target customers by city, geographic region, as well as nationally or internationally.

We believe in giving you the greatest ROI. We will not overspend on irrelevant keywords like other SEM companies. We only bid on relevant keywords and create ads that will draw local online customers who are already searching for your products or services. This "just in time" marketing targets customers who are in the first stage of researching their local purchases, local services or local destinations.

Our Search Engine Marketing package includes:

  • Consultation on your online marketing budget.
  • Development of a keyword list that is relevant to your business and clients.
  • Set up of Adwords and/or Yahoo Search account with a daily/ monthly budget, maximum cost per clicks and timeline for the ad campaign all decided on by you.
  • Writing keyword rich text ads for each search term group.
  • Linking of specific pages for each search term/text campaign to “land” on your website.
  • Provision of a 2 week set up report that includes impressions and click through rates for each keyword phrase/text combination as well as the average cost per click and cost to date.

Once your ad campaign is set up, it can run unchanged for any period of time. 
However, because Search Engine Marketing is competitive, other businesses may be vying for the top sponsored search listings as well. Without regular monitoring and adjustment your search position cannot be guaranteed to remain stable. The Generator can be contracted to manage your campaign weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly. $100 fee per management and report.
